Not a good time to have a cold
Personal Commentary
Over the past couple of days, I've had a bad cold, so bad that I couldn't hardly sit up straight long enough to check my email. This basically the one time in my life where I actually expect the TV to entertain me to some extent. Fortunately, my effective IQ drops the requisite 30 or 40 points necessary for being able to watch TV that much. (Thank goodness I feel well enough to use the laptop to post this today. Still can't sit up straight for very long, but at least I can read & write today.)

Let me tell you, it's not been a good time to have a cold and try to watch TV...

"A third person in Florida has been infected..." *click*

"COMING UP NEXT: THE SYMPTOMS TO WATCH FOR" *click*

"Anthrax's symptoms initially look like a bad cold or flu..." *click*

"If you have a bad cold that doesn't go away, be sure to be worried..." *click*

"ANTHRAX: WILL IT KILL YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN OR JUST YOUR CHILDREN?" *click*

"Yes, I believe that biological warfare could happen anytime, anywhere." *power off*

Is it too much to ask that I be able to have a cold without twenty channels trying desperately to convince me I have anthrax? Bleh.
